HOPE in Administration & HOPE in Practice
Using HOPE as an antiracist framework to address disparities in your organization; analyzing policies through a HOPE-informed lens; crafting HOPE-informed intakes; increasing access to the 4 Building Blocks in your community; and HOPE-informed family interactions

This course contains the training materials and resources from two CalTrin trainings: HOPE in Administration (12/07/2021) and HOPE in Practice (12/08/2021), presented by Allison Stephens and Amanda Winn, HOPE Project, Tufts University.
HOPE in Administration
This two-hour workshop will consist of small group work focused on a combination of the following topics: using HOPE as an antiracist framework to address disparities in your organization; analyzing your policies through a HOPE-informed lens; and crafting HOPE-informed intakes.
Participants will:
- Identify at least three ways to make your intake form more HOPE-informed.
- Review at least one organizational policy through a HOPE-informed lens.
- Identify at least one disparity in access to the four Building Blocks in your community.
HOPE in Practice
This two-hour workshop will consist of skill building exercises and small group work focused on increasing access to the 4 Building Blocks in your community and practicing HOPE-informed family interactions with HOPE tools.
Participants will:
- Identify at least 4 resources to offer local parents to increase access to Building Blocks.
- Practice family interactions using a HOPE-informed tool.
