This month we will begin with an informative high-level overview of the five Protective Factors, designed for child- and family-serving professionals at all levels of Protective Factors knowledge or experience.

This informative webinar is the first training in CalTrin’s monthly Protective Factor series. During this session, your facilitator will discuss each protective factor and provide strategies for practical application. This session is presented in an engaging lecture format. 

In this engaging lecture-format webinar we will:

  1. Review the five protective factors that help keep families strong and prevent child abuse and neglect
  2. Identify key strategies and concrete everyday actions that help families build protective factors
  3. Explore what it means to work with families in a strength-based way
  4. Share Protective Factors resources for providers and families
