Social and emotional competence means having social skills, and being able to talk about and handle feelings. Join us as we explore the stages of emotional development of children and learn strategies to help children to talk about and handle their feelings.
Learners will:
- Define the characteristics and skills related to social and emotional competence.
- Identify everyday actions that support social and emotional competence.
- Participate in activities that demonstrate social and emotional competence.
- Make a plan to incorporate this knowledge into your life and work.
