This interactive presentation will review the current state of research and practice in programmatic efforts to engage new and expectant fathers during the perinatal period.  

Learners will review and discuss:

  • Common barriers to involving fathers in perinatal health initiatives
  • Evidence-based best practices in developing father engagement programs
  • Key metrics in assessing father engagement program effectiveness

Who should attend: Staff and leadership of family resource centers and other child- and family-serving organizations who are engaged in developing father engagement programs and assessing their effectiveness.

This training is presented in collaboration with our partner project, the California Evidence-Based Clearinghouse (CEBC).
